My backpack in Yosemite National Park with Wilderness Adventure Section, Angeles Chapter of the Sierra Club. We had 13 participants starting from Popcupine Trailhead on Tioga Road, hiking along the north rim with fantastic view of Haft Dome and Yosemite Valley. We did some side trips to Indian Rock, North Dome and Boundary Hill. Carrying our heavy packs and hiked at least 6.5 miles every day ( excluded side trips), camped at Lehamite Creek and Yosemite Creek and got out at Yosemite creek trailhead. We saw two bears, one hiking along with us for on the other side of creek on Josemite Creek trail, another right next to our bus at the Yosemite Creek parking lot. It was a wonderful trip.
Trip's statistic for 3 days is 21 miles; 4100 feet gain; 4770 feet loss.
